The Posterous experiment
So here we go. I'm starting a 2-week Posterous experiment to find out whether it fits my microblogging needs. I've been looking into something in between a blog and Twitter for a while now, but couldn't decide between Tumblr, Posterous and Wordpress.
Posterous it will be for now. Let's see where we end up!5 comments

@frank: Tumblr to me feels more like an aggregator rather than a microblog. Lack of (default) comments was another reason.

Hey Tijs, been playing around with it for a while as well now, and it seems like a great platform. Esp. for mobile blogging, or sending stuff from your iPhone. The cool part is that once people are connected with you on facebook, they can get the full media experience without extra clicks. Like for example if you upload pictures or a video here, posterous sends it to facebook. Not just the link to the blog in a status update, but the real full video file or pics so people don't have to leave facebook.
